I find Myself fixated on certain Objects because In my mind there is much Beauty to be found out Of them. Here is a List of the Ones I appreciate the Most..

Buildings Buildings are Interesting because Of their Variety, and The vast number of Purposes they can hold. There are Buildings for Education, for Shopping, for Mourning, for Worship. In my view, You can never be Truly alone while Inside a Building.. Even with No other Person around, There is still an "entity" to be found. Constructed of silent and unmoving material, it Goes unnoticed. Buildings serve Great importance to us and we have Grown reliant on them. It is something I find Intimate.

It is especially Intimate in the case of the Home. While we may stay At a shopping outlet For a few Hours, or a Place of Worship as the morning Turns to noon, we always return Home. Home is where We dissect and Embed pieces of Ourselves, no matter the Scale. You can Spill your self expressive Guts out within the Confines of your Room's walls. And even In oppressive environments, that Expression is still there. In the Late hours is where We dream and Where we hope and Where we think of the Difficult things. We sleep, Unconscious for a Long stretch of time, within An organism larger than Ourselves.

At first, the Thought was Claustrophobic to me, but I am okay With it now.

Power Lines/Radio Towers/Transmission Towers One of my Favorite things about all three Of these objects are The sounds they Emit. Electronic humming, Buzzing, and crackling brings Me a lot of comfort. There is Also the fact they tower High, which I think adds to That feeling of wonder. I like Power lines for How their wires look. The more Gnarled and messy, the better :^). For Radio towers and Transmission towers, it is their Skeletal appearance, even more so For the Transmission tower. The shapes they Come in are varied and Interesting to look at. The blinking of Radio towers gives a Calming impression while Driving back home during the Night.

You can Find them in Cities, smaller Neighborhoods, or Much further out in large Clearings that only amplify Their monolithic charm. Even as a Common sight, I always Find myself captivated By them..

Dolls/Mannequins I think Maybe my Fascination with Dolls and Mannequins have something To deal with my Envy of their form.. They are Humanoid but without the Biological components we Have, those of Which frustrate Me despite being Natural. Often they are Subjects of beauty with umblemished skin and perfect, unblinking faces. I like it when their eyes shine :^).

I'm sure not everyone sees it this way, but dolls and mannequins are perfectly androgynous to me. Even when clearly presented as feminine or masculine, I still hold this view. A doll girl may not entirely be a girl, etc. Whereas others may recognize their beauty according to typical standards (see above), I personally recognize it by their non-gendered anatomy (among other things).

Owl Statues/Decoys I really Love owls In general, so of course I would find them equally as adorable in decoy form :^). They have always stayed relevant in my growing-up as well. I see them everywhere in my area. I am not particularly sure what they stand for, though I think it is mostly to scare off unwanted birds. Allowing myself a moment Of arbitrary thought, I'd say there could be some superstitious reasoning too..

When I was still in high school, there was one home I'd walk by everyday with a lot of junk at the front. Among a pile of jumbled objects was a little owl statue on top. During one particularly rainy + windy week, it was not in its usual spot. For a while it was gone (probably knocked over), disappointing me a bit, then came its return. I was glad that I was not the only one who cared about it.

I know there are a lot of people who view owls (and so, owl-adjacent things) as bad omens, but I like to think They stand for vigilance. In statue/decoy form, it is more emphasized. Static and staring.
